We have been sewing and working with the Washington National Primate Research Center (NPRC), Kiem Lab, Boston Children's Hospital-Biomere and the Infant Primate Research Lab (IPRL) creating personal protective equipment (PPE), tether jackets, bare huggers, surrogates and items often used to assist in research for over 25 years.
We can customize almost any sewing need you have and collaborate to help you find solutions to all sorts of sewing issues, including sizing and comfort issues to the animals. Many of the jackets are sold in standard sizes and measurements, one of the styles the zippers are covered with quilting to provide additional comfort, while the other style has grommets that are installed at the waist and neck for additional sizing adjustments. The tether jackets are made with pockets and can typically be changed without removing the primate from tether.
All orders are individual, and custom made. We do keep some sizes in stock & offer quick a turnaround when possible.
We provide repairs & mending services to extend the life of your tether garments and other items, so that your research budgets can be extended further.
Repairs and mending can be turned quickly to get the items back to you and in circulation as quickly as possible.
We would really enjoy exploring any business opportunities with you. If you think we could be of service to you or help with a special project, please give us a call/text or email.
We love to come up with solutions to problems for our customers, so feel free to ask, if you have an issue you are working on that is not listed, we are here to help and since we are smaller, we have a little more flexibility.
